I saw this competition and thought that the luciform would be perfect as a colossus entry. 
It's a death colossus, by the way. Full of horrible, nasty rotting things.
Apologies for the lack of quality! Photoshop was not working; thus I was forced to open the PSD and edit it in SAI, which does not have the best saving quality. I needed to keep it under a certain size to upload.

You're walking through the forest, and it's a beautiful dawn - fog shrouding the undergrowth, the sounds of birds chriping to life.
And all of a sudden, you can't see a thing. The sound of a far off crackling permeates the silence. The sky has transformed into a cacophony of bloody black and red hues. A horrific stench wafts past you, and it makes you want to retch.
But that's not the worst of it.
You hear tortured wails and groans in the distance, and the screams of others lost in the red morning. And finally, parting the fog, arrive your nightmares. But this time, they're real. And in the center of the mob is a twelve-foot grotesque, hissing bloody mess; slimy veins and whips hanging from it's deformed, pink body.
It whispers to you. Takes over your thoughts; roots you in place.
Try and fight me. Resist me. I dare you.
A stitched mouth grins sadistically at your writhing, weak body; soon to join the others hanging from its mass.
